The Tulip Dress has a square neckline, shaped seemliness along the bust, a curved waistline at the front, and a gathered skirt. It features a lace up bodice and elastic ruched sides for adjustability, and of course pockets!
Dress her up for your next wedding invite, or dress her down for a walk around town. Either way, she’ll leave you feeling as cute as you are comfy.

Fit + Sizing
The pattern was drafted to be fitted to the upper bodice and relaxed in the skirt.
How your under bust and waist measurements compare to your body measurements will show approximately how much space will be at the sides when laced up.
Example: I measure 32" under the bust and 30" at the waist, and wear a size S with about 1" space at the sides once laced up.
Reference measurements below to select size. If you have any questions or need help figuring out your size, please send me a message.

Reference the body measurements to select your size. I recommend prioritizing the bust measurement for this style, as the bust is the most fitted area on the Tulip Dress.
There will be 0" to 2" spacing between the side lacing depending on where you're measurement fall in the size. If you would like more spacing at the sides, consider sizing down.
For example, my bust measures 36" and my preferred size is S. There is about 1.5" space on each size of the lacing when laced up tightly (some compression happens in the bust when laced up)
Measure your full bust and your under bust, then find the different between the two. Reference the chart to decide wether fit version A or B would be best for you.
As an example, my Bust is 35" and my under bust is 32". The difference between them is 3" so I would fit version A best.
